Dr. Nikolaos Kateris joins the faculty of Cambridge University (UK)

Dr. Nikolaos Kateris joins the faculty of Department of Engineering at Cambridge University (UK) as an Assistant Professor of Energy.  His research is in the area of thermodynamics at the molecular scale, with applications in propulsion, power generation, energy storage and nanomaterials. Research themes include shock-droplet and shock-particle dynamics for multiphase detonation; battery thermodynamics for electrochemical performance and battery safety; modelling of carbon materials and particulate emissions.
