Dr. Sabrina Wahler holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians-University, completed under the guidance of Professor Klapötke. Her research experience includes an exchange at Imperial College London, where she worked in Shock Physics and the Institute for Security Science and Resilience under Dr. William Proud, earning recognition as an Honorary Research Associate for her innovative contributions to material property prediction in defense applications. Currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at Stanford University, Dr. Wahler is engaged in research, focusing on developing reaction models for rocket fuels.

She is the developer of RoseBoom, a software program for predicting the properties of explosives and propellants, and the founder of RoseEnergetic GmbH, a start-up that has secured funding from prestigious organizations, including the European Space Agency. Dr. Wahler is authoring a book, published numerous papers, and was highlighted in the PEP Journal's ‘Spotlight on Energetic Materials Scientists.’ Among her many awards is the prestigious ‘Dr. Bernard E. Douda Young Scientist Award’ from the International Pyrotechnics Society. Dr. Wahler serves as a referee for various journals, a member of the International Ballistics Society's Communication Committee, and is honored to be the Associate Editor of the Journal of Energetic Materials.
